What exactly is this a picture of? I get the raindrops etc, but what's the black upper half?
The picture is taken on an average (i.e. dark, cloudy, and rainy) summer evening around 7 p.m. The black part is our beech hedge. There are actually some faintly greenish pixels in all the darkness.
