OK ... lame joke ... but that's what you get this week. I didn't get tickets to the grüner Hügel (and probably never will in this lifetime). So maybe Daland and his crew will come ashore here instead. It is after all Sandwike, isn't it?
Grüner Hügel, or so Babelfish tells me, means "Greener Hill." Is this an opera in-joke?
Green Hill, and definitely not a joke. This is where the Festspielhaus in Bayreuth is located.
